Welcome.
Integrative telehealth therapy for teens and adults in California
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying pain alone. In therapy, you don’t have to hold it all in by yourself. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore what you’re going through, gain insight and awareness about your thoughts and feelings, and find tools tailored to your needs.
I build on traditional evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT by incorporating mindfulness and somatic techniques, including EMDR. My approach is intuitive and empathetic, and also honest and practical. Together, we focus on helping you cultivate self-compassion, identify and challenge limiting beliefs, reconnect with your strengths, and make progress towards your goals.
My approach
-
Even when it’s welcome, change can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating a career shift, entering or leaving a relationship, becoming a parent, or facing an unexpected loss, transitions can stir up uncertainty, grief, as well as past traumas.
Therapy provides a compassionate space to pause, process, and find alignment during times of change.
-
Anxiety can feel overwhelming—like your mind won’t stop racing, your body won’t calm down, and you’re constantly bracing for what might go wrong. If you find yourself stuck in cycles of worry, overthinking, or pressure to ‘hold it all together,’ you’re not alone.
Treatment for anxiety is highly individualized. It could mean challenging unhelpful thoughts, setting boundaries, or perhaps practicing techniques that soothe and regulate your nervous system.
-
Many of my clients are high achieving women who find themselves burned out, overlooked, or taken advantage of at work, despite giving so much of themselves.
Work can take a lot out of you, especially when you’ve been taught to push yourself, strive for perfection, and put others’ needs before your own.
-
Though I work with clients from a variety of different backgrounds, a majority of my clients are 1st and 2nd generation American.
In many cultures, traditions of interdependence and loyalty can be a source of strength and belonging, but also create pressure around academic or career success, or balancing your own needs with the expectations of parents and extended family.
We’ll gently explore how these dynamics have shaped your sense of identity, and patterns of relating that may no longer be serving you.
-
Depression can affect every part of life—your energy, motivation, relationships, and sense of meaning. It may show up as sadness, emptiness, irritability, fatigue, or a feeling of being “stuck.”
We’ll work together to understand what’s contributing to your depression—whether it’s stress, unresolved trauma, relationship challenges, or negative thought patterns, for example
-
Adolescence can be a confusing and overwhelming stage, filled with pressures from school, social media, friendships, and family. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space for teens to express themselves, build confidence, and learn healthy ways to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and geared toward helping teens develop resilience, self-understanding, and stronger communication

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy approach that helps people process difficult or traumatic memories and lessen the emotional distress connected to them.
An EMDR session involves gently revisiting a memory while using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or butterfly tapping, to help the brain reprocess and release the stuck emotions tied to the experience.
EMDR is just one of the modalities I use. If you’re curious about whether it could be a good fit for you, let’s talk!
Areas of focus
About
I grew up in Northern California with Chinese and Irish immigrant parents, surrounded by a kaleidoscope of different cultures, stories and ways of looking at the world. I’m passionate about the nuances of immigrant family systems, and understanding how patterns of thought and behavior are deeply embedded in lineage.
I’ve worked in the mental health field for nearly a decade, spending six years providing trauma-informed care in public systems before becoming licensed and opening my private practice in 2022. If you are looking for someone to listen compassionately and be a respectful witness to your journey, who can offer you skills and alternative possibilities and perspectives, and to support your path forward, this may be a good fit.
